Captured is the eightieth issue of the series and the eighth season finale.

Plot

Samus and Oveur fight the Space Pirates. the Writer battles Ridley and kills him by impaling him on his pencil. Samus and Oveur are surrounded by Space Pirates, and the Writer is thrown into the circle with them. Mother Brain appears, and Samus asks her why she wants the Jewel of Truth so badly. Mother Brain says she can't answer that. She then has bags placed over the three heroes' heads, and the season ends with Mother Brain saying that the heroes are "coming home with us".

Parodies/References

• The ending of the issue is a reference to the ending of the second season of Lost.
