How Do You Kill a Mockingbird, Anyway is the forty-third issue of the series.

PlotEdit

The group decides to go get the vehicle the Writer mentioned, which is a time-travelling castle owned by Scout and Boo Radley from How to Kill a Mockingbird (Scout dressed in armor and Boo as a pirate). Pickett runs ahead and falls though a nonexistent panel to his death, breaking through every panel in that column. The Writer guesses that the Future Writer must have booby trapped the issue. Mother Brain breaks out of her tube, again gaining the ability to speak normal English. The eight travelers pile into the time-travelling castle and warp to the deserted battlefield.

Parodies/ReferencesEdit

  • The issue's name and the appearence of an armor-clad Scout and Boo Radley in pirate clothing, as well as the time-travelling castle, are references to How to Kill a Mockingbird, a popular internet movie that is itself a parody of the book To Kill a Mockingbird.

TriviaEdit

  • The Writer vanishes for a few panels, before reappearing and saying "Stupid crossovers...". This is referring to an issue of Stick World where the Writer was pulled from T3H Metroid Galaxy into Stick World.
