General Sykes (later King Sykes) is a main character of the series.

Sykes is drawn similar to Ridley and Dracog, but has sharper wings, jaws, tail, claws, and feet, and more jagged wings.

Sykes was Dracog's second in command, but was used by the Future Writer as a puppet king after a coup d'etat that deposed Dracog. Samus kicked him into the crater of a volcano but the Future Writer revived him. He is killed again by Ridley when he is knocked off a cliff, and is presumably in captivity.
