T3H Showdown is the seventh issue of the series.

Plot

Dark Samus confronts Mother Brain in Tourian. Mother Brain blasts Dark Samus against a wall with an eye beam. Meanwhile, a strange young man shows up and frees the group from the wall using his magical powers. This person is revealed to be the Writer. The group proceeds to Mother Brain's room, only for Ridley to attack them again. Dark Samus shoots Ridley, knocking him out, then shoots Scott and kills him. Dark Samus then shoots and destroys Mother Brain's tank. However, the issue ends with Samus pointing at Mother Brain.

Trivia

• This issue is the first appearence of the Writer, who becomes a main character in season 4.
